In a move designed to make it look like the pharmacy chain only offers healthy products, CVS will stop the sale of all tobacco products. But a company spokesman confirmed that the chain will continue to sell many different kinds of junk food, sugary sodas and other processed foods that contribute to America’s spiraling obesity epidemic. Asked what percentage of patients that show up to the chain’s Minute Clinics suffer from diabetes, obesity or other illnesses related to poor diet, a company spokesman replied: “smoking is bad for you”
